road trippin to oregon

Monday, August 4, 2014

after graduation, jay + i took off to oregon for a family reunion.
the drive was long + not super attractive until we hit portland.
then we got why everyone loves it here.
i feel like if we let it, oregon would take over itself.
it was green + alive everywhere we went
+ i loved it

i'll be honest.
i really would be okay with it if we went back...like forever.
but then i'll probably miss california too much so it's a toss up,
but i really loved it here.

we went on this amazing hike where the green just was everywhere.
i think that's the thing i couldn't get over the most.
the green.
there were no real other colors than just green and possible a few flowers.
i went over my first suspension bridge...i was terrified.
i guess i didn't really realize how scared i was of heights

all in all, it was the perfect vacation, the perfect trip.
we loved oregon.
from our bike rides on the 101 to the pound of salt water taffy that was consumed in an evening,
it was the best.
until next time!

oh ps.
i also really attract the weirdo guys in shops who dress me up + put me on rocking horses.
