narnia

it started with a 6 am walk.

long story short, jay, me + jennifer went on this walk because we weren't going to sleep.

i run the loop just about everyday + always wondered what was over this hill

+ that day, we decided to find out.

it was beautiful. 

it was an abandoned orchard that turned into this green wonderland.

we walked through it quietly, almost in awe of this find literally in our backyard.

there were even deer, unsuspecting, running around.

of course i had to come back again.

remember when you were a little kid + it seemed that anywhere + everywhere you went

there was always this off limits, beautiful place?

like i said, i felt like we stumbled into narnia, or crossed the bridge to teribithia,

after all, we did jump over a canal to get here.

places like this make me happy, makes me remember being a kid.

it was undisturbed except for the animal trails

+ it's my newest favorite place.

ps. i think shelia loved it too...
