jay + i had been married for only a year when his brother, codey, left for his mission.
two years later, three years into our marriage, i'm honestly shocked how fast the time
of a mission flies by.
codey was in the ghana, accra mission + served the many area's surrounding it.
we all had a countdown basically starting at four months + by the time tuesday rolled around
+ all the family, minus jer + jennies little babes, were there,
it felt like that hour of waiting at the airport dragged on + on.
but when he came down,
everyone screamed + our family was all back together again!
i love my hancock family!
it's so happy to have my brother home,
which is making me so excited to have my brother back as well from his mission!
i know that time will fly by!
enjoy his sweet video too, captures our emotions better than these pictures!
we than had a week + a half of basically everyday, family time.
+ this night was one of my favorites.
a huge meal, lots of kids, swimming, soccer games, it all was the perfect summer night
+ really made me reflect on how wonderful time with family really is.
it's seriously the best.
+ i wish, wish, wish i captured it on film, but jay totally dressed up in a ref outfit without telling anyone + sprinted down the hill wearing super short shorts, whistle blowing, flag waving + dogs chasing him.
man, it was a good night.
last, but not least, was sweet gideon's baby blessing.
it's really hard not to want to pinch all over the chunk, he is so yummy + has the most amazing hair.
+ again, family time, is the best time.
