a big fat case of the monday's

you know, normally, i like mondays.
whoa, shocker. who likes mondays?
seems that i usually do, especially how it feels like a mini new years.
my goals re-start, healthy eating starts back up, + it's a fresh week.

but this monday?
yaright. 

started with waking up to a dirty house.
am i the only who hates waking up to a dirty house?!
it makes my mondays feel like a monday.
+ bread was moldy,
fish oil vitamins m i g h t be the grossest thing humans have ever created,
vimeo isn't working,
oh,
+ the car that takes poor jay to school, absolutely will not start.
that's right, it's 12:30 + it still hasn't started.
he had to r u n to school in, i kid you not, 8 degree weather.
super great, super awesome.
remember, i had moldy bread this morning?
anywayyyys, after trying to start the car for like 30 mins,
i've given up + taken angry self-portraits.

very time constructive, i know.

all i can say is, hopefully this day gets a little better.
tonight, we are decorating our house christmas.
you can't judge me because it was obviously cold enough to FREEZE my poor car, it's cold enough to start decorating for Christmas.
maybe that will make today a little better.

  1. girl. i feel ya - i woke up and got all ready for work today, only to look at the clock and realize it was only 5am. 5am! who does that? anyway, christmas decorating sounds like THE best pick-me-up. (and tomorrow is tuesday, so thats good right?)

  2. I usually love Monday's too but sometimes they're the absolute worst!! My car wouldn't start either because of the dang weather! Booo. Hope tomorrow is better. Also, I'm jealous you're decorating your house! Sounds so fun xx

  3. so sorry about the crap monday. here what you should do (and it's what i do when i've just HAD IT):
    take a 20 or 30 minute rest/nap in your bed in whatever you wear to bed, wake up and start the day over. take a shower, brush your teeth, eat a rejuvenating breakfast food, get dressed in new clothes and do your hair and makeup, and start that day over.
    makes a world of difference for me.
