chantel's baby shower

whoa wait, it feels like yesterday that the cookes told us they were having a baby + today i threw her a baby shower...seriously where did those 9 months go?!

it was right before we left idaho in december when chantel + jesse told us.

we were watching the walking dead together + during a commercial break,

jesse asks me, hey camilla, what's that around boo's neck? 

(their adorable puppy is named boo)

I pick him up + there is this stick on his collar.

doesn't even register.

i say, a blood test, a pregnancy test, a thermometer...then it registers.

ARE YOU GUYS PREGNANT?!

they laugh + say yes.

it's one of my favorite memories, 

finding out that these incredible friends were having a baby.

i admit it, i cried a little bit too.

but what else is new...

So i knew that i just had to throw her a baby shower + we spend winter semester

collaborating over pintrest, making sure it was going to be perfect.

+ it was.

i even remembered how much i love throwing parties + events.

i just loved putting it all together.

the food was amazing, there was a great turnout, + chantel got some of the CUTEST baby clothes.

new mammas, how are you not buying something everyday?!

baby clothes are the cutest + little girl clothes...

i just can't even handle it.

i also can't handle the fact that a new addition to our j+cx2 crew will be joining at anytime.

it's an awesome thought knowing that we are going to have our kids

be joining + creating memories with us.

i'm incredibly grateful i found such a solid friend in chantel.

i can't wait to see her become an amazing mom,

she is already rockin it.

please come soon baby cooke, i'm dying to meet you already.

i'm going to be your favorite person outside of your family,

i just know it.
