Blessed.

a couple weeks shy of 6 months + our eli loren is a blessed babe!

i cannot tell you how excited i was for this sunday.

with hands on his head-sitting up-jay gave the most beautiful blessing to eli.

it was personal, loving + nothing short of what i expected jay to give eli.

something that really attracted me to jay was his depth.

he is loving + when given the time, shows it in the best ways.

thank you jay baby for being worthy + willing to bless our baby.

we all got a good laugh when jay held up eli after the blessing, he had the biggest smile on his face + totally hammed it up for the whole church. 

what a babe. 

 also, lets talk about the fact that i can't control any emotions 

+ started crying before jay got through eli's full name.

it was the perfect day to celebrate our little baby.

oh how we love you eli!

4 months

before i even START this blogpost,

yes...i know i misspelt my sons NAME.

ironically i've misspelt something every month, for three mothns ;) *months now...

if this isn't the poster child for mommy brain...i really don't know what is....

k, on to the good stuff... 

i mean, i feel the same way eli that you are 4 moths old....

WHERE did these last 4 months go?!

eli is currently 15 pounds 4 oz, hello chunk, + since the 4th of july,

he has become all sorts of mobile, rollin each way which means no more solitary eli.

it's so so much fun to watch this little nugget scoot around though 

+ even more fun now to watch him play.

also, i'm pretty sure eli went through his 4 month sleep regression a few weeks early because, 

major knock on wood, he's slept until 5 am these last few nights 

+ this mama has been over the moon about it.

he's a drooler, a puppy snuggler, loves his daddy (he won't feed or pay attention to me when jay gets home, it's the sweetest thing) + is obsessed with his mama.

this boy gets more + more fun with each passing week +

it's the only thing keeping me okay with time passing quickly.

 he isn't feeling small in my arms anymore,

his chunky thighs are off my lap while nursing 

+ he's learning to be more independent.

but, nothing is comparing to nursing right now, 

when his little hands are placed on my chest 

+ his eye's are glued to mine the entire time?

it doesn't get sweeter than this.

4 months

3 month

3 months.

eli has become such a fun + happy baby.

he did amazing on his first plane ride, road trips + 10 day vacation.

eli is constantly surprising me with how well he adapts to a very easy going schedule 

+ i won't complain one bit.

he's my best.

2 months

my baby boy is two months.

TWO MONTHS.

he took his shots like a champ + snuggled the whole day,

am i the worst for selfishly loving the sweet cuddles?

eli is 12.8 pounds, 24.5'' + his head is in the 90th percentile.

dang dude.

while his growing is bittersweet, it been one of my greatest joys to watch his sweet personality grow.

he l o v e s mornings, loves diaper changes + he has really found his voice.

i am loving being a mom more and more each day.

we have our sleepless nights, but weirdly i'm savoring them...he always feels so small in my arms at night + by the way this nugget is growing, i know that won't last long.

happy two months our sweet boy, you sure make life real good.

my little baby is one month!

lack of sleep must've mad e me delusional because this has been

the fastest month of my entire life....

especially following the slowest month of my life waiting for him to get here.

eli already smiles at us + makes like better than i knew it could be,
